Be Prepared! Yes I know that is the Boy Scout motto, but it fits Customer Service too. When you start your day, be prepared to start working with customers right away. Make the 8:00 customer feel as important and the 4:00.

Customer Service Tip for 4/03/09

Know your stuff!!! My wife spoke to two different electric companies trying to see if we were switching. The one we were supposedly switching to had no clue. The one we were switching from knew what they were doing, what they were talking about and actually salvaged a customer. Know your product or service and you will go a long way toward gaining and keeping customers!!

Be respectful. Having an attitude with someone only causes problems for both of you!
