New Year New Stuff

Ok I gave up on my Customer Service Blog after I got a job. However Blogging seems to be all the rage and there are so many things going on that I thought I would just do updates on life in general.
That being said, I made it through another year. My wife didn't kill me not maim me. I am sure she had plenty of reasons.
Still working for the city @ Gus Garcia Recreation Center. Still needing to make more money.
Over all have been blessed richly in 2009 and look forward to more blessings in 2010.

Customer Service Tip for 4/06/09

Be Prepared! Yes I know that is the Boy Scout motto, but it fits Customer Service too. When you start your day, be prepared to start working with customers right away. Make the 8:00 customer feel as important and the 4:00.

Customer Service Tip for 4/03/09

Know your stuff!!! My wife spoke to two different electric companies trying to see if we were switching. The one we were supposedly switching to had no clue. The one we were switching from knew what they were doing, what they were talking about and actually salvaged a customer. Know your product or service and you will go a long way toward gaining and keeping customers!!
Thanks!

Customer Service Tip for 3/27/09

Commitment! When you commit to a customer you will have a repeat customer. Any thing you do to help them positively is seen as a commitment to them. Remember any contact with the customer, means you are the company to the customer. Commitment to them shows that the company is committed to them also.
Thanks!

Customer Service Tip for 3/26/09

Today’s tip is an old cliché “People don’t care how much you know, until they know how much you care”. This is very true. Many other elements go into achieving this. Your smile, listening, and using their name are just a few examples. When they know that you care about them, it is much easier to do your job and serve them better.

Thanks!

Phil
